About Me.jpg

I'm Taylor, the founder of Nurses Are Human Too, and I am so glad you found your home!

I founded Nurses Are Human Too after quitting my nursing job at the #1 hospital in the country.

I have worked as a medical surgical and NICU nurse for 2 years. I truly believe in quality over quantity, and let me tell you, I've had some quality experiences during those 2 years that have shaped my views of what nursing should be and look like.

I aspire to help nurses become resilient in their work and encourage wellness as a part of their lifestyle.

I am far from perfect.

I struggled with depression and anxiety.

I struggled with my emotional health.

I struggled with internalizing situations instead of finding ways to overcome them.

I struggled with resiliency.

I was on a path to self destruction and I decided to take a leap of faith and trust myself.

I decided to take a path of healing and self discovery.

I have been on a constant journey of finding myself and voice in nursing. I created this space for all of us. To remind nurses and the entire world what it means to be HUMAN - and that WE MATTER. This is a safe space where together we can be real, transparent, vulnerable and share our highs and lows, the struggles and victories we have experienced in our nursing careers without judgement. Come as you are and let’s grow, challenge and motivate each other to continue being imperfect lifesavers to the entire world.

BEING HUMAN MEANS HAVING CHALLENGES, BUT IT’S ALL ABOUT HOW YOU OVERCOME THOSE CHALLENGES THAT DETERMINES YOUR EMOTIONAL WELLNESS AND RESILIENCY.

Nurses Are Human Too is here. Here to empower. Here to create space for vulnerability and honesty. Here to be heard. Here to be seen. And here to stay.

Show The World Your Authenticity.

Welcome Home.
